Golden Ears Bridge Update

Well under way now, the upcoming "Golden Ears Bridge" is now 50% complete according to a recent news release last week from Translink. It's much easier to envision this huge project and the path that it will eventually take, especially if you go down to Wharf Street in the Hammond area of Maple Ridge. Your best bet is to park at the west end of Wharf and head east towards the project for best views. You can also wander down to the Fraser River, on a path that is next to the old lumber mill for some views across the river over to the Langley side.

Starting today, I'll be chronicling the ongoing progress of the upcoming, eagerly anticipated "Golden Ears Bridge" project. Connecting the municpalities of Langley, Surrey, Maple Ridge & Pitt Meadows, this huge endeavour is slated for Summer 2009 completion.
